Served with ice cream and sprinkled with icing sugar and cinnamon Yum.

Dumplings go down well in this house so It was a natural hit.

  5. place each apple on the pasty and cut around each apple enough pasty to loosley wrap around the apple. Secure by gently pushing the ends into the apple turn your apple over and place on foil again lossesly wrap around the apple and seal at the top. Repeat 3 times.
  6. Place the foil wrpapped apples into the Slow coker/hot pot and turn on high for 3-4 hrs untill cooked.
  7. Remove from slow cooker (very hot) remove foil and serve straight away.

I serve this straight away, I sliced each apple in half  and added ice cream and sprinkled with icing sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. For my little boy he had it with oatly (a dairy and soya free cream).
